We hope you are enjoying our Big-19-in-2019 promo. We will continuously think of new big things to help you grow your business in 2019. However, there are also big decisions that we need to make because of the recurrence of big issues in our operations.
THE NEXT BIG THING
Starting January 26, we will no longer accept orders that do not comply with the use of the prescribed color charts.
I know you are aware that the strict use of color charts has been communicated to all dealers since August 2018. But unfortunately, only 2 dealers have complied. Because most dealers did not comply, we encountered a lot of problems. Over the past weeks, we have been replacing orders due to complaints about color discrepancies arising from the non-use or improper use of our prescribed color charts. According to the dealers who reported color discrepancies, it is their customers (we call them end-users) who were complaining that what we manufactured did not match the uniforms they ordered from other manufacturers or from us many months or years ago. As a manufacturer, we have no way to know what colors your customers really want, as we are not in direct contact with them.
Although we can assure you that we are 100% capable to print the colors you want from the prescribed color charts, we can not assure you that we can print accurately the colors only your customers can see in their minds, on their computer monitors, and on their existing uniforms that they bought from other manufacturers. Please take note that all manufacturers print colors differently even if they use the same brand of printer.
The non-use of the color charts has also slowed down our operation because of the unnecessary reworks and exchanges of email requests to brighten or darken or change colors during the test printing or prototyping stage. Easily, these additional steps can cause doubling of the production lead-time unless we do costly overtime works.
We anticipated that color issues might further aggravate with the aggressive marketing of local and foreign manufacturers who have no color standards. That is why we strictly enforced the use of the color charts last August 2018. Many of you requested for extension for another 2 months and we agreed. We sent out hundreds of color charts to you and for your customers and even offered to print the charts with your company names printed on them. We will also be releasing a video in the next few days to motivate and guide dealers on how to use the color charts.
These are the color charts we are prescribing. The details and digital copies are shown in our website link https://www.crafteli.com/color-references.html
You can still request for your free copies of the Crafteli or 3DWEAR charts with your company names printed on them.

"We don't want to over-emphasize the simple steps on how to use the color charts as we don't want to insult anyone's intelligence. The simple step is just to ask your artists or customers to choose the color they want from the color charts."
To refresh your memory on how to use the charts, you may continue reading.
BIG THINGS START WITH SMALL STEPS
The charts are very easy to use. Let us cite two scenarios.
The first scenario is that you have the Crafteli color chart or the 3DWEAR color chart. In this ideal scenario, simply choose your desired color from the chart using the codes. Example of a code is L25 for pure red in the Crafteli color chart. If you have an actual colored reference (either an object or a photo), place it on top of the color chart. Then, look for the nearest color equivalent by comparing them side by side. Once you have chosen a color, take note of the code as written on the color chart. You may take a photo of the object on top of the color chart if you wish to show to us via email. Then, indicate the color codes when you send us your order.
The second scenario is that you have the Formula Guide Pantone code or a chart. The first thing you must do is verify the source of the Pantone code or the version of the chart. Make sure the code or chart came from the Formula Guide version. If you have an actual colored object reference, place the Formula Guide Pantone booklet on top of it. Then, look for the nearest color equivalent by comparing them side by side. Take note of the code. The code must have a prefix of UP which means uncoated. If the prefix is CP, look for its equivalent in the uncoated version. This is very important to know because there is a huge difference between the coated and uncoated version. The uncoated version has more resemblance to a printed fabric because they are both in matte finish. whereas the colors on the coated version appear darker or brighter because of its lamination, making it almost impossible to print exactly on a fabric. Now, take a photo of the Pantone you have chosen. Then, send the photo and the code to us via email.
If you do not have physically any of the three prescribed color charts, you may just refer to the virtual or digital copies of the Crafteli color chart or Pantone in our website or Pantone website to choose the nearest color that matches your desired one. However, we can not guarantee 100% that you will get the exact color you have in mind because the website copy varies depending on the calibration of the monitor of your computer or gadget. And when we email you the test-print, it may be look different in your monitor due to variables in lighting.
To summarize the benefits you get from using the prescribed color charts:
Please take note that we no longer offer replacement warranties for all orders that did not follow the use of any of the prescribed color charts.
If you need help, please email info@3dwear.ph or call 0916-6984321.
Thank you and more power to your business.
Best regards
