How To Do FAST-DP
The FAST-DP is the file to be submitted to Crafteli by a C3 Partner during ordering? FAST-DP stands for Flattened All-Sizes Digital Proofing. It is the digital file that represents the different sizes of apparel in their unsewn layout and without custom names or numbers. The files are flattened so that they will.no longer be mistakenly edited by other artists during the nesting and printing process.
STEP 1. Identify The Apparel Type
The type of apparel depends on what your customer wants to buy. The complete types can be seen on the iQOT.
STEP 2. Open Template and Select Sizes
Look for your templates in your folders. These templates are shared by Crafteli to verified C-Partners. They are coded according to the apparel type. C-Partners may have their own templates subject to review and approval by Crafteli as the sizes are converted into equivalent Crafteli sizes for internal reference purposes.
Always double check the dimensions of the template you selected and compare with your sizing chart dimensions. For example, if the Small size in your sizing chart shows a 36" body circumference, then the flat front and back horizontal dimension of the apparel body shall be 18.5" (or computed as 36"/2 + 0.25"+0.25").

3. Place the Graphics on the Template
When placing your design on the template, please take note that there will be 0.25" sewing allowance around the perimter of the template. Any graphics oitside the sewing allowance shall be hidden. If you have continuous graphics on each side of a sewing seam, please make sure that the 0.25" seawing allowance be enough so as not to hide any i portant graphic details and to ensure smooth continuity of designs.
4. Save the Finished Design as Flat PNG file
There are several ways to save the file as transparent flat format. One effcient format is PNG. To export the file as PNG, create the artboard for the graphics, go to File, and click Export Selection.
5. Review Your Fast-DP file
- Review your flattened PNG file if layers, effects, opacity, and colors are as what you expected.
- Eyedrop the colors and compare with the physical color chart.
- If any of the layers, effects, opacity, or colors , are not acceptable, go back to your raw file and adjust the effects, opacity, colors, etc. and repeat saving as PNG.
- Repeat the checking process until you are satisfied with the result.
- When you are satisfied, repeat the process with the other sizes using the adjusted graphics.
