The Press-On-Demand concept was made possible by the newest printing technology called Direct-To-Film or DTF, where the design is printed on a film (instead of directly on the garment) and then pressed on the garment any time or on demand. This system has its own advantages over the Direct-To-Garment (DTG) system. First, it doesn’t require a physical garment during printing and eliminated the need for pretreating the garment. Second, unlike the DTG system, the DTF method can print on any type of fabric as long as it can be pressed at a temperature of at least 120 degrees centigrade. In addition, the DTF system can be used to print on any type of garment and practically on any part of it.
